R to the Core- Dir en Grey:
--------------------------------------------------------------------
You're the one that's stupid. You're a pig; acting all honest but you hide your true self.
Can't hear anything, Can't feel anything. This is a place of contradiction.
My heart screamed out, you make fun of me like you make fun of my deaf left ear.
I know everyone isn't like that, but I can't accept everything.
So I still, even now scream out in a hoarse voice to all you rotten people...
There is an answer, so writhe in agony and let your will to live come out.
Everyone's the same once they sin.

Well... It's been a long time since i've posted anything on here, so I figured i'd give it another shot... I guess I could have just never posted anything on here again and you could have guessed that I died in a planecrash or something similar, but ALAS!! I return.
A lot has happened since Dir en Grey in Portland... When I was down there it actually inspired me quite a lot.
Since I left Portland i've Started a Website, a Business, and began Performing/DJing under the name R2theKore.
I guess I'll start out with that: What is R2theKore? WELL it's the internet screen-name i've used for the past 7 or so years... It also happens to be the name of a Dir en Grey song off of the album Vulgar. It's short and unique as far as DeG songs go, and I really like it. Also the Letter "R" was just always sort of my favorite-- It means and says a lot about me.
Next up is my Business/Idea called Coact. The unfinished site can be found here: www.gocoact.com . The entire idea i'll save for another time, but I am deep into the process of creating a social network style of music creation/collaboration that is fully web based. I am also working on doing Music booking/promotion of all genres out here in Alaska, because the music scene could be so much better than it is!
I can definitely write off a bunch of stuff off my list on the side panel! Like the midi keyboard/controller... I've been producing a few songs... Can't say i'm fantastic yet, but i'm using Massive, Ableton, and a bunch of other VST's to make some electronic sounds (Psh who isn't these days though right!?!?) It's a lot of fun and a lot of work... I hope to release a 6 track ep sometime within the year if all goes according to plan. I'm trying not to sample anything and make all of the sounds from scratch, but Vocal Sampling in some way shape or form will probably end up happening.
Since the start of Coact we have thrown two Electronic Dance Music events, and even had one of them illegitimately shut down by the police!
We've started building a HUGE set of ultra sub-woofers and we have a set of Traktor Kontrol S4's on the way. YEAH it's that amazing... Coact will take over the world!!!
Aside from all of that excitement I've met a lot of really great people as well as re-united with a bunch of old friends! I made an epic journey to New Orleans for Mardi Gras (Which i'll leave at that), and I miss everyone there, and would love to go back again in a SECOND!
It's been awhile, but i'll perhaps try and post something here again soon, but seeing as i'm so busy lately it's unlikely...
I'm pretty much talking to Future Robert on these anyways... SO until next-time
