So ALOT has happened over the last week- Not really wanting to talk too much about anything.... I pierced my lip and my ears and it's pretty cool. I have my 70-291 scheduled for the first tuesday in December 2nd. I have -ALOT- more free time now and it feels really nice... I can go home to relax and worry about nothing. This Saturday i'm finally going to see my friend's band play at Meta Rose Square... they call themselves Suicide Nation (REALLY STUPID NAME... lol no offense gabe) but yeah ... should be entertaining... Still looking for someone to come with me but going alone could still be fun. I still need to play some more Redalert3 because it's badass... but I have just obtained so MANY GAMES OHHH SHIT!!!...

anyways... nothing else to say atm... workin.... it's not that fun...

Implementing, Managing, and Maintaining a Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure 11/25/2008

Yeah ... i'm real excited for that... I have the Trancender for that and I am taking the college class currently at Mat-Su College... Hopefully I can snag this cert...

Last night I decided to drop out of my Independent Project class- Don't have enough time in the world... not enough people are willing to help me out... and my server box isn't responding very well.... I can't get the correct drivers loaded up onto it as it doesn't have nic or wireless nic drivers.... and I am ending up pulling the cards out and looking up model numbers for drivers.... which for some reason STILL won't work .... I don't even know. I had Vista on that machine and it insta found my drivers, so I think i'll try server 08 on it soon, but in regards to the class I don't feel that I have the time to figure all of this out while.... MOVING into my place.... and full time work with trying to study for certs that give me insta-extra$$$ ... so I think that is more important than a stupid independent project class... so -----DROPPED

ALOT of the games that are on my list of -TO OBTAIN- came out! I've been looking for call of duty World at War.... Picked up Gears of War 2... it's pretty fun but I haven't really gotten into it too far yet. I'd like to beat it here soon (I'll probably play it after class tonight)... can't wait. Until then i'm sort of stuck here at work--

Didn't watch too many new movies or anything... although I have obtained quite a few new ones... I re-watched Tron... which is a classic! Seeing as they're making a NEW ONE soon... I also ended up watching Tinkerbell with Tanya.... which... was... umm... yeah. I won't even say anything about that. Re-Watched Wall-E with Bryant... and started Tropic Thunder which looks like it will be pretty good.

Still can't wait for the Xbox live update and the X-Japan rockband track!!

What to say what to say...

First off. Haven't been to work in around a week... In this week I helped my parents move out and have since been moving into my new room of the house. I have a -LONG- way to go before everything is the way I want it to be... but it's off to a nice start. I'm going to have my computer stations spread across the back wall in an array of 4 monitors. My dad also left the big screen TV for the Living Room there so I moved that over to my room heh... It's so awesome to have everything hooked up...

Since the last time I blogged I have obtained my 70-290 Managing Windows Server 2003 Certification, and my CompTIA A+ Certification (220-601, 220-602). I passed both recently and am very happy in regards. I have since been blowing off my remote access independent project and desperately need to jump back into that.

Went to the NUGA (network user group of Alaska) meeting yesterday. They went over some things about Microsoft Sharepoint and reasons people are implementing it.... not so fun... but I did meet up with a guy that would help me out on my remote access project.... he was even a former employee of MTA where I work... It was kind of funny to see his response to me working there.

ALSO My Crystalpoi from flowtoys.com came in!! they are in fact as amazing as they look in the videos!! i've been practicing nonstop since they came in on monday... and I am improving? abit? I dunno... hah hah maybe someday I'll be as amazing as the people I see in the random videos on youtube.

Movies---
I don't usually review or talk about movies... but this is my blog and I do what I want...



The Strangers-hmm... Yeah it was alright. Only complaint was that it mostly consisted of the 2 main characters running around away from the random masked people. It has some nice moments. I couldn't help but laugh at the end part where they take off their masks and take turns stabbing the main characters while tied up to a chair... to make it even funnier the version of the movie that I had actually looped around that part twice making me laugh a second time... Other than that I don't feel bad for watching the movie...



Mirrors- It wasn't bad... I actually enjoyed it. The effects were kind of cool I guess. Nothing too special but the entire thing reminded me of a horrorgame or something. There was even an end boss with a decent fight scene. It was also appearantly a remake of a Korean film I believe? ... I haven't seen the original, but if it was in fact a remake... Definately the best Asian horror remake i've seen in a LONG time... again... not dissappointed about watching it.

Sukeban Boy- Ahh yess.. Noboru Iguchi is at it again... The other movie of his that I watched and enjoyed was Machine Girl ... if you like cheesy japanese flicks you can't miss that one... This one is pretty ridiculous. It's about a boy who looks like a girl... and yeah... It's a pretty weird one. Lots of nudity, gore, and ridiculousness. Entertaining to say the least. If you know me in real life... then you know that I can't live without my ridicuous Asian films....
Wanted- AHH... this movie was so good! I wasn't expecting much... but AHH... God this Director kicks so much ass... Timur Bekmambetov also made the nightwatch/daywatch films and you can totally see the similarities... If I would have known this information beforehand I would have ran to see it in theatres and been more excited about it! I don't want to ruin too much about it, but it's basically about a guy who works a shitty desk job and finds out he's the son of an assassin whos destiny is to become the next assassin.... Watch it... if you haven't already.

I also Watched Hackers again... but everyone in existance knows that movie rocks... Mess with the best... DIE like the rest.

I've only played through it around 3 times.... Just about every track is amazing... Especially Break Down...


YEAH!... another thing.... Girugamesh is COMFIRMED FOR SAKURACON ... the anime convention in Seattle! April 10th-12th 2009!! ... I --WILL-- Go .... for 2 tickets with hotel stay for a week will be around 1,400 if I book now! ... .... .... I also want to do comic con next year as well... however... this looks much more fun for me. SO who knows what will happen.



Uroboros! ... although it isn't out yet... I like it alot! ... it isn't really what I was expecting... I was under the impression that it was going to be more mellow and in my opinion it follows more closely with Marrow of a Bone... I've only given it 2 listens without paying attention to tracklistings.... Vinushka is 9 minutes long!! and very cool... I remember that one... the noises and such from kyo are definitely interesting. Both Music and Uroboros are getting ALOT of playtime on my end and i'll revise a track by track review soon.

on a final note I also picked up Red Alert 3... it's pretty good sofar. Only got a little ways into it... i'm waiting for someone else to pick it up so I can do 2 player co-op story!
